Word came out via Variety that Warner Bros is looking to tone down the violence in the new cartoon series "Beware" (of the Batman).
Enlightened by the events following the Colorado shootings, WB wants to take a closer look at the series. They've asked for a review of the show's content to ensure they are socially considerate after the tragic events that happened during a midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises.
Now, no one from WB has commented, but you can rest assured meetings and phone calls have taken place.
My Thoughts: It is a show for kids. But remember, when we were kids we knew when Elmer Fudd was trying to shoot Bugs Bunny it was all fun and games. Do not insult children by treating them with kid gloves. The gunman was clearly not in his right mind and needs psychiatric help.
But I do see WB's side in this situation. They are sensitive to this traumatic event & don't want to draw any bad publicity. It's a tough situation that can put WB between a rock and a hard place.

Official Press Release
Step into the Arkham action like never before! Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today announcedBatman: Arkham City™ Armored Edition for the Wii U™ system from Nintendo. Developed by WB Games Montréal the game delivers the same impactful story and gameplay of the award-winning blockbuster created by Rocksteady Studios, now with enhanced gameplay features made possible with Wii U and the Wii U GamePad™. The game is scheduled for release holiday 2012.
Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition contains all of the content from Batman: Arkham City, including all available downloadable content, and introduces Battle Armored Tech (B.A.T.) Mode and the new Armored Suits for both Batman and Catwoman. Fans can become the Dark Knight like never before with the upgraded battle suit that gives players an additional power-up by allowing them to build kinetic energy during combat. When activated, players enter B.A.T. mode and dole out more damage than previously possible.
“Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition harnesses the power of the Wii U system and the Wii U GamePad with features that allow fans to further immerse themselves in the role of Batman like never before,” said Martin Tremblay, President, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. “WB Games Montréal evolved the incredible hit game by Rocksteady into a truly unique experience on Wii U.”
Buried at the end of the Variety article about Warner Bros.’ stealthy hiring of a screenwriter for Justice League is news that the studio is inching forward with the long-troubled Wonder Woman movie.
According to the trade paper, Green Lantern screenwriter Michael Goldenberg is now attached to the adaptation, marking the first update since Warner Bros. President Jeff Robinov assured the Los Angeles Times more than a year ago that a script was in the works.
A live-action film has been in development since at least 2001, when producer Joel Silver paid Antz screenwriter Todd Alcott a reported six-figure sum to tackle the script. Four years and nearly a half-dozen writers later, Warner Bros. and Silver Pictures hired Joss Whedon to write and direct Wonder Woman. That deal famously fell apart in February 2007, when Whedon walked away from the movie, explaining, “We just saw different movies, and at the price range this kind of movie hangs in, that’s never gonna work. Non-sympatico.”
Today, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment & NetherRealm Studios unveiled Injustice: Gods Among Us, a superhero fighting game set in the DC Universe.
